Inspire Psychological Services seeks to provide counseling services to those in need of hope, encouragement and support. Christian counseling, rooted in Biblical truth, is available upon request and offered when desired. Our goal is to enable families, adults, adolescents and children to know true peace and freedom from psychological pain through the utilization of professional psychotherapy.
Our goal is to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. By applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques, we will unearth long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
If you're looking for extra support and guidance through a challenging situation or you're just ready to move in a new direction in your life, we look forward to working with you to achieve your goals. We seek to join you on your journey as together we work to resolve problems, heal deep wounds and effectively cope with life's challenges. It is our privilege to partner with you as we seek solutions and freedom from life's challenges. Christian counseling is available upon request.
Please call or email us for an individual, couples or family therapy consultation today.
Our focus is to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. We achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan.

Dr. Lori has been practicing for over 20 years. She graduated from Boston College and has a Psy.D. in counseling psychology. Life sometimes hands us situations that are just too difficult to deal with on our own. The good news is that you don't have to! Together we can discuss the issues that you are struggling with to find more effective strategies to manage these difficulties.
I specialize in work with adolescents and adults and treat a variety of issues such as depression, anxiety and anger problems. In addition, I work to help develop social and communication skills, school problems, anger management and family issues.
Sometimes it just takes an outside perspective to help you gain a better understanding of what is going on in your life. I'm happy to help you work through these difficulties.
Hello, my name is Courtney Quinn and I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate for the state of South Carolina. Growing up I always had a passion for mental health and knew I wanted to serve others by walking them through their darkest times. I pursued my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Campbell University in order to provide the foundation necessary to understand brain and behavior. Afterwards I continued on to receive my Master's in Professional Counseling from Liberty University where I gained experience counseling in both a hospital and private setting. Currently, I am finishing up my PhD in developmental psychology to garner more knowledge in working with youth and teaching the next generation of mental health professionals.
As a therapist I believe in Solution-Focused approaches that empowers the client to make lasting changes in their lives. Utilizing a Person-Centered approach allows for me to customize therapy to match each individual's goals within a compassionate and judgement free zone. I also incorporate Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy within some sessions to combat anxious and depressive thoughts. I have experience working with all different ages and specialize in: anxiety, depression, life transitions, anger management, health concerns, relationship difficulties and traumatic experiences. I also have a special interest in maternal mental health and extensive knowledge in Alzheimer's disease and related dementias. Additionally, I have personal experience and interest within military communities as a spouse of an Active Duty service member.
When I'm off the clock I enjoy spending time with my young children outdoors and going to various parks. I love to read and learn new skills that includes cooking, baking, and crafting. We enjoy soaking up all the Lowcountry sun and historic sights!
As a Christian, I can provide spiritual components to your counseling sessions as you see fit. I look forward to working with you!

I have also worked with complex trauma, grief/loss, depression, family issues involved in divorce, custody, and family violence situations. Some of my skills involve the use of the DSM-V, crisis intervention, co-parenting issues, mediations, and empowerment skills to assist individuals in becoming self-sufficient.
It is my aim to empower individuals to use their strengths and skills in attaining and maintaining their goals, personal growth, and self-sufficiency. I contend that it is important to positively role model and to teach others the value of caring for themselves and others. I am very eclectic in my therapy approach in which I combine Cognitive Behavioral theory, Psychodynamic, Problem Solving, Task-Centered, Solution Focus, Narrative, and Crisis. Lastly, I live by four recipes for a “Happy Life” that are simply….First, “To thy own self be true”…..Secondly, “Be impeccable with your words”. Thirdly, “Don’t take anything personally”.
